Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of lukewarm or hot water (whichever you prefer)
  • 1-2 tsp apple cider vinegar (I will do up to 2 TB)

  • 1-2 drops of therapeutic grade lemon oil
  • Optional: 1-2 TB maple syrup to sweeten

Directions:

Mix everything together, and drink before your meal.

In a pan, cook the ginger, carrots, garlic, and broth, boil them and leave to simmer.  Then, sauté the onions in a pan and add the ghee. Cook until it gets a caramel-like texture. Then, blend the onions and broth for several minutes, and add the seasonings and coconut milk. Stir once more.

Recipe 2: Red Lentil Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 c red lentils, rinsed
  • 1-inch ginger root, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • ¼ c coconut oil, olive oil, or ghee
  • 2 sweet potatoes, chopped
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 1 apple, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 4 1/2 cup bone or vegetable broth
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste
  • Coconut cream (optional)

Preparation:

In a pot, warm up the olive oil on medium heat, and add the carrots, potatoes, apple, and onion. Cook for 10 minutes, and add the broth, lentils, cumin, chili powder, ginger, and paprika and boil. Next, leave it to simmer for half an hour, and in the end, season with coconut cream.

Recipe 3: Broccoli Detox Soup

Ingredients:

  • 2.5 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoons of sea salt
  •  2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 3 celery stalks, chopped
